"PhilCom Mas Yo!"

MECHANICS

Qualification:

  1. The "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Sales promotion is open to all PhilCom residential and commercial telephone and Internet subscribers, Public Calling Office and Payphone Agents (hereinafter collectively referred to as "PhilCom Customers"). All PhilCom Customers shall be entitled to one (1) "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stub for every Five Hundred Pesos (P500.00) billing which is paid on or before due date provided that such payment is for the total outstanding balance of the applicable monthly bill.

  2. PhilCom Customers must bring with them their current PhilCom Statement of Account and pay their Total Outstanding Balance on or before due date to avail of the promo. Total Outstanding Balance refers to the amount reflected in the Statement of Account which is due for payment at the specified time therein.

  3. New subscribers are entitled to participate in the raffle and are subject to the same rules and regulations.

  5. This promo covers the March 2003 Billing Period up to the February 2004 Billing Period.

    6. How to Play:

  6. The "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stubs are issued with a specified month in which it is eligible to be played. "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stubs for a particular month cannot be played or used for any other month. After a draw has been officially closed, all "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stubs for that month will automatically be invalidated.

  7. All qualified PhilCom Customers shall write three (3) distinct numbers of their choice, ranging from zero (0) to thirty-five (35), on the space provided in the official stubs. The PhilCom Customer shall then add up the three (3) numbers and indicate the sum or total of the chosen numbers. Aside from the numbers, the following shall also be filled-up: subscriber name, account number, telephone number and signature. The stubs are carbonized to allow immediate copy of the numbers and details written on the original page.

  8. Only permanent ink ballpoint pens or standard ballpens can be used in filling up the official stubs. Use of pencil, marker pens, whiteboard pens, pentel pens or other non-permanent, erasable, non-ballpoint type of pens shall render the entry invalid.

  9. The filled-up "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stubs must be submitted to any Philcom Business Office on or before the specified monthly due date for validation and encoding.

  10. After validation, the original copy of the official stub shall be removed by PhilCom authorized personnel and dropped at the designated drop box for control purposes. The duplicate copy of the official stub shall be returned to the subscriber. Official drop boxes shall be placed at PhilCom Exchanges.

    11. Disqualifications:

  11. Any "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stub not submitted to and validated by Philcom’s authorized personnel will be automatically disqualified for that month’s draw and in the succeeding monthly draws.

  12. "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stubs with incomplete entries shall be disqualified from participating in the monthly draw, or if drawn, will be declared as invalid.

  13. Torn, tampered or defaced "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stubs shall be declared invalid, especially if alterations and erasures are substantial.

  14. PhilCom employees and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, and employees of PhilCom’s affiliate and subsidiary companies, are disqualified to join the promo.

    15. Draw Details:

  15. The monthly cut-off date for the submission of "PhilCom Mas Yo!" Stubs shall be on the third day of the month succeeding the month covered by the particular draw.

  16. All draws shall be conducted in Cagayan de Oro City every 7th day of the succeeding month, or on the following working day, under the supervision of a DTI representative. (see schedule above)

  17. A monthly draw is considered closed after the DTI representative has validated the result.

  18. The winning number combination shall be determined by drawing three (3) distinct numbers, ranging from zero (0) to thirty-five (35), for each monthly draw of the promo. Each of the three (3) numbers shall be distinct and drawn in sequence from a repository containing 36 pingpong balls marked with numbers ranging from zero (0) to thirty-five (35).

  19. The three (3) numbers comprising the winning number combination shall be distinct from one another and, as such, no number shall be drawn twice or thrice in series or succession for a given draw. The winning combination MUST conform EXACTLY to the sequence in which the numbers were drawn.

  20. The prize for the promo shall be pegged at One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000.00) per month, regardless of whether there is a winner and regardless of the number of winners. In case there are several winners, the prize shall be divided equally among them. If there is no winner for a particular month, the prize for that month shall be carried over to the succeeding draw.

  21. Prizes awarded to the winner/s shall be tax-free.

  22. The claimant winner/s must submit the duplicate copy of the winning stub within seven (7) days after each draw date After the said seven (7) days, late claimant winners will not be entertained and declared automatically disqualified from that particular draw.

  23. PhilCom shall send notices to the validated claimant winner/s that his/their eligibility for the prize has been verified. The winner/s shall then redeem the prize within sixty (60) days after receipt of such notification; otherwise the prize shall be forfeited. All prizes may be claimed at the nearest PhilCom Business Center.

  24. The winner shall claim the prize personally. In cases where he is unable to make such appearance, he may assign a representative to claim the prize provided that the latter brings with him a duly signed and notarized letter of authorization and two (2) valid identification cards of winner and the authorized representative.

  25. PhilCom reserves the right to change, modify or amend any or all parts of these rules which it may deem inconsistent to this promotion.

  26. PhilCom reserves the right to disqualify any entry found to be in violation of these official rules.
